Through Christopher Street Day (CSD) selected international cities celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights with annual open-air parades. CSD events occur across multiple cities across the world where Berlin is one destination. The event CSD honors the Stonewall riots that took place in New York City during the late 1960s.
