We start our list with the Brandenburg Gate – this is an emblematic sightseeing that shows Berlin’s glorious history. Gaze at this massive gargantuan structure that divided east and West Berlin. You should pause for sometime and watch it’s neoclassical architecture and the Quadriga, a sculpture of the Roman goddess of victory on the gate. Do not forget to take great pictures before going to the next place of attraction.

The next place you should consider is the beautiful Charlottenburg Palace which is the largest palace in Berlin. Admire the rich Prussian architecture, try to take a look at the baroque gardens. You should not leave without visiting the State Apartments that give one an idea of the way the Hohenzollern rulers led their lavish lives. Spend as much time as you want walking around a beautiful lake and you might even have a good picnic of your choice too.

3. Tours to the Unter den Linden Boulevard

When you are still walking through the Royal Berlin, go to the Unter den Linden Boulevard. This is a significant avenue of this historic city where you will find the Berlin State Opera, the famous Humboldt University among places such as the Neue Wache memorial. Listen to the sounds of the city, cross beautiful structures, and look at the picturesque little cafes.

3.1 Admire the Berlin Cathedral

Hugging the periphery of the Museum Island, the Berlin Cathedral is other notable place to visit. Notice its great design and ornamentations on both exterior and interior. Go up the dome for some beautiful and breathtaking view of the city of Berlin and explore the Sauer organ in the main nave. Spend some good time below wandering through the crypts and chapels that great stories of history can be heard from all.
