1. The Fernsehturm: Gaze at Berlin from Above

We start our tour with Alexanderplatz where we will have a first look at the Fernsehturm or the TV tower. This 368-meter high building provides an excellent view of the entire city. There are few things as breathtaking as going up in the elevator to the observation area followed by the gorgeous landscape view that meets you once you get up there. Even on a sunny day you will be able to see significant attractions including the Brandenburg Gate and the building of the Parliament – the Reichstag.

2. The Park Inn Hotel: Admire the Urban Skyline

Following this we go to the Park Inn Hotel in Alexanderplatz. 114 meters tall, this hotel also has a rooftop terrace where guests of the hotel have the opportunity to observe the beautiful views of modern berlin skyline. Take a drink at the sleek rooftop bar and get a good view of the functioning city going on below. It is also an ideal place to take beautiful photos particularly early in the morning or towards early evening.

3. The Hochhaus Herrengedeck: A Modern Marvel

Friedrichshain is the next stop on our tour, where one has to see the Hochhaus Herrengedeck. It is one of the contemporary buildings which is with a height of 92 meters having quite an unusual architectural. Head up to the observatory and view the multicultural tenor of the area combined with history and modern architecture of the changing skyline of Berlin.

4. The Commerzbank Tower: A Taste of Financial Power

The next stage guides us to Potsdamer Platz, here we meet the Commerzbank Tower. This is a 259m tall towering building that has been adopted as an architectural symbol of Berlin’s city business area. Still think that capitalism is just dandy as you stand before this imposing edifice made of glass and steel. While the chapel is not open for the Adamson community, just viewing it from the outside I found to be a very wonderful sight.

5. The Upper West: Luxury, Shopping, and More

Last on our list is the Upper West at Charlottenburg. Standing 118 meters high this contemporary creation effectively uniting business premises, luxurious housing, and recreational facilities. Take a walk through Kurfürstendamm one of Berlin’s most popular boulevards, so often heralded as the shopping district of the city.
